Puffin is our family camper, designed in CAD and built by hand on a Peugeot Boxer L3H2. Its two best ideas, a drop-down bunk and a wet-room bathroom, are becoming self-build kits for the Boxer, Relay and Ducato.

Two hard problems, solved in CAD.

Each kit comes as Plans, or as Plans + Parts with everything cut and machined. Either way, you build it.

Drop-down bunk

A 1900 mm single bed that lifts flush to the ceiling by day, over a dinette with two belted seats.

Wet-room bathroom

A real bathroom in 950 × 800 mm: dry vanity in front, full-tray shower behind a swing screen, and a toilet that slides away under the bed.

DB-01 · Drop-down bunk

Release the pins and the bed lowers 580 mm on three linear-rail carriages, with two gas struts carrying the weight both ways. Slide the leg drawer out into the cab for a full 1900 mm.

BA-01 · Bathroom

Swing the screen across and the tray becomes the shower. The vanity stays dry behind it, and water runs off a bamboo duckboard.

Compatibility

Will it fit my van?

Both kits are drawn around the Sevel L3H2 shell: 4035 mm wheelbase, 3705 × 1870 mm load floor, 1932 mm inside height.
